Como Zoo is now accepting fresh browse donations to support the health and enrichment of our animals. Here’s how you can help:

What is “Browse”?
Browse is a term used for edible woody plants. The leaves, bark, berries, and flowers can all be helpful to the animals’ digestion and provide important enrichment opportunities. By donating browse, you are giving our animals a healthy and stimulating addition to their daily routine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I donate a species not listed?
If you have another tree or shrub, send us a photo or description. We’ll verify if it’s safe.
Does the browse need to have leaves?
Yes, during the growing season. In winter, leafless branches are acceptable.
Can you pick up from my home?
Possibly, depending on location and volume. Contact us to discuss.
Will I see my donation used right away?
Not immediately—our team inspects and processes all browse before it reaches animals. But rest assured, your donation will soon enrich their lives!
