Three weeks of 3-day, all-day camps
Uh oh! Is your Nanny/Manny headed back to college in mid-August putting you in a bind? Or are you running out of camps to take you up to the beginning of the school year? Como has you covered with these end-of-summer camps!
Como’s camps focus on developing children’s appreciation for the natural world through play and exploration, unique Como experiences, interactions with zookeepers and gardeners, and up-close encounters with plants and animals.
All camps run Tuesday-Thursday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- Drop-off is 9:00 am-9:30 am
- Pick-up is 3:30 pm-4:00 pm
- Campers are accepted into age-appropriate camps based on the grade they will be entering for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Campers will receive a free Camp Como shirt to wear each day of camp.
- All campers must bring their own bag lunch and morning snack.

August 29-31
Sensational Senses (1st-2nd): (SORRY, THIS CAMP IS FULL) Take a whiff…what do you think the sea lions eat? Can we find Mumford the lion by following his roar? Do cacao beans taste like chocolate? Join us as we use our five senses to learn more about the natural world, including the plants and animals that call Como home.
Como-ology I (3rd-4th): Discover the wild world of “ologies” in this interactive and hands-on camp! Each day we will try out a new ology – like ornithology (birds), mammalogy (mammals), phytology (plants), and, of course, grossology (things that make you go eww) – and discover how we use it here at Como. Did you also sign up for Como-ology II? No worries, we have different topics and adventures planned!

Camp Forms
Please review, complete, and return these forms at least one week BEFORE your child starts camp. These forms will provide us with the most up-to-date information on your child. You can scan (or take photos of the completed forms) and email the forms to campcomo@stpaul.gov, or mail to Camp Como, 1225 Estabrook Drive, St. Paul, MN 55103

Registration Deadlines and Cancellations
Registration is taken up to 48 hours prior to the start of the camp. If a camp has not met the participant minimum one week before it is scheduled to start, it will be cancelled. All cancellations are subject to a $10 admin fee.
