Join us at for our monthly Wild Conservation Weekend, happening February 15-17, as we go “Crazy About Cats”!

This fun-filled, family-friendly event will highlight the incredible adaptations that make big cats some of the most skilled hunters in the animal kingdom. Test your own abilities at our Cat Abilities Station, where you can challenge yourself to see how fast you can run compared to a cheetah, how far you can jump like a snow leopard, and how well you can balance like a cougar. Explore hands-on activity stations, enjoy interactive games, Storytime reading of “Snowy: Leopard of the High Mountains”, and participate in creative crafts—including making a folding paper tiger! Plus, don’t miss our Camouflage Station, where you can try to spot hidden big cats in photos, and our Lion Interpretive Station, where you can touch a lion pelt and learn fascinating lion facts from real biofacts.

Get up close and personal with Como’s own big cats during special enrichment sessions featuring our big cats. Learn how these cats’ unique adaptations—like the cheetah’s lightning-fast speed, the snow leopard’s record-breaking jumps, and the cougar’s incredible balance—help them survive in the wild.
