Mask Policy Update
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, as part of the City of St. Paul’s Parks & Recreation Department, follows the Executive Orders issued by the Mayor of St. Paul, the guidance of the CDC, as well as the advice of public health experts on masking. Effective August 3, Como Park Zoo & Conservatory requires that masks be worn outside and inside throughout the entire Como campus, including the zoo grounds, Visitor Center, Tropical Encounters, the Conservatory, Japanese Garden, and all gift shops. Visitors 3 years of age and older, whether vaccinated or not, must wear a well-fitting mask over their mouth and nose while visiting Como.
Masks will need to be on at check in, and on both indoors and outdoors during your entire visit due to the nature of going in and out of buildings, and the high volume of guests under the age of 12
Regulations are subject to change based on the latest advice from the Minnesota Department of Health.
We welcome healthy visitors!
Please check the health of all members of your group before leaving for the zoo and Conservatory and do not come if anyone is feeling ill.
If you do not want to wear a mask and do not want to follow these guidelines, we ask that you visit once the Executive Order is lifted.
