Education Stations 2nd – 5th Grade

Education Stations offer a flexible, pre-paid experience for 2nd-5th grade classrooms to explore various topics related to plants and animals at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. Priced at $4 per student, each station provides engaging educational content about the zoo and conservatory, with free admission for chaperones and teachers. The station area is located in the zoo’s outdoor pavilion. Chaperoned groups can visit the stations anytime between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm as space allows. A 1:8 or smaller chaperone-to-student ratio is recommended.

Third Grade Residency Program

Join us for a unique opportunity to partner with Como Park Zoo and Conservatory for four days of hands-on learning. Created for 3rd grade students, we partner with teachers to deliver a FREE program that brings curriculum to life and creates meaningful experiences that students will remember for a lifetime.

Transportation Funding

Thanks to a generous grant from Como Friends, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is excited to offer transportation funding to schools that find the cost of field trips prohibitive. These funds aim to help schools access our educational programs and enhance their curriculum through engaging on-site experiences.
