We will be selling ONLY ADVANCED TICKETS again in 2023. Tickets will go on sale in July. We will not be able to take cash at the gate for admission. If you arrive without your advanced ticket, we will have QR codes at the gate for you to scan with your phone that will lead you through the ticketing purchase process. You will need a credit card for this process.
Lil’ Explorers is a FREE program from 10:00AM-noon on Thursdays in the Visitor Center in the Winter and on the zoo grounds in the Summer. Perfect for the 1-3 year old (but every age is welcome) to meet animal and plant visitors, see story time, play games and many other fun activities. Different theme each week! An ASL interpreter will be here most Thursdays interpreting the 10:30 story time, 11am zookeeper talk, and the 11:30am SPIRE Sparky Show.
Pop in at various animal habitats around Como and chat with one of our educators about the endangered or threatened animals we have at Como and what people can do to help them thrive in the wild. The S.A.F.E. chats occur Wednesdays 1pm-3pm, and Saturdays & Sundays 10:00am-Noon.
This is a special time set aside just for our 55-and-up aged friends. This is an opportunity to visit the Zoo and Conservatory for a leisurely walk before the crowds as well as special activities and guests. This event is a great opportunity for Seniors to enjoy a free event that encourages being active and social with some adult learning to spice it up.
Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is an energetic, colorful place full of sensory stimuli, and we know this environment can be overwhelming for some guests. This is a time designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Como strives to provide a positive, welcoming experience for every visitor.
