Como Friends, the non-profit organization that supports Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, was awarded the highest rating, 4-stars, from Charity Navigator, America’s leading independent charity evaluator. The honor comes to Como Friends as a result of sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. Charity Navigator awards only the most fiscally responsible organizations, such as Como Friends, a 4-star rating. Over the past decade, Como Friends has contributed over $31 million to Como Park Zoo and Conservatory for annual programs and operations, capital improvements and the creation and growth of an endowment fund.
