The Charlotte Partridge Ordway Japanese Garden offers a peaceful and secluded setting just steps from the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. With flowing water, carefully placed stone, and thoughtfully designed plantings, this space creates a serene and memorable backdrop for an intimate ceremony.

What to Expect

Your rental time includes set up, ceremony, photos, and take down within your one hour reservation. Guests may enter through the Historic Entrance or directly through the Ordway Garden’s gates.

Most ceremonies take place on the viewing stone with the waterfall as a backdrop, though you are welcome to choose your preferred location within the garden.

Couples are also welcome to take photos in the Palm Dome during their rental time. Please note that the Palm Dome remains a shared space. Other Conservatory gardens are not available during your rental.

Restrooms are available inside the Conservatory near the Palm Dome. Access is limited to restrooms only during your rental time.

As an outdoor space, we encourage couples to plan for changing weather conditions. If your reception is taking place in the Visitor Center, that location may also serve as an alternative, depending on your plans.
