Calling all Earth enthusiasts! Join us for a wild and wonderful celebration at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory’s “Party for the Planet Powered by Xcel Energy” on April 21 and 22!

Get ready to dive into a world of family fun, crafts, games, special animal enrichment, and giveaways—all while learning about the amazing animals, plants, and people that depend on our planet’s precious resources. It’s going to be an Earth Day extravaganza like no other!

We’ve got some special guests lined up to make this event unforgettable. The Children’s Theater Company (CTC) will be leading interactive Story Theater sessions three times a day, bringing their delightful A Year With Frog & Toad to life right in our Visitor Center Lobby. Plus, don’t miss Xcel Energy’s popular energy-efficient Tiny House—get inspired with innovative solutions for a greener tomorrow!

Take the Save Energy Pledge and become a champion of conservation – and be registered to win a prize pack, with the opportunity to participate in a Como Zoo penguin meet and greet, an Ecobee Smart Thermostat, Google Nest Mini and energy-efficient LED light bulbs!

But wait, there’s more! Como’s non-profit partner, Como Friends, will be giving away free tree saplings and showcasing their new exhibit in the Exhibit Gallery that highlights the impact philanthropy, and support from gift shop purchases, has at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory.
